How I clean my Make-Brushes! Spot Cleaning/Deep Cleaning

So today being a Sunday and all I decided to clean my make up brushes because the sight of them was truly offending me and my skin.

I did try and record footage for my youtube channel but unfortunately my tripod is broken, so i've decided to write about it and when i get a new tripod I will film it so you can see in detail just how I get on with this tedious yet satisfying task.

Things i use:
- Plastic bowl/container
- Antibacterial Dish soap
- Dettol
- B. Brush cleanser spray
- Kitchen paper

Spot cleaning: a very subtle brush cleaning method, i usually do this with my eye brushes if im using various shades of eyeshadow
Step 1: Using my B Brush cleansing spray i spray twice onto the brush
step2: Take a sheet of kitchen paper towels and swirl the brush around on the paper towel until most of the product is gone

Deep Cleaning; I like to do this more towards the end of the month on a sunday when i have nothing to do, deep cleaning allows for you to get rid of all product left on make up brushes.
Step 1: Fill plastic bowl with warm water and 1/3 cap of dettol and place makeup brushes in the soloution
Step 2: Squeez a small amount of soap onto the brush or palm of hand and swirl brush until it lathers.
step 3: Rinse the brush with warm water and watch all the makeup wash away into the sink and repeat step 2 if required.
Step 4: Squeeze out any excess water from brush hairs and reshape
Step 5: Using the paper towels lay your squeaky clean makeup brushes ontop and allow to dry overnight :)
